My work explores the relationship between a perceiver and their environment. Informed by ideas of embodied experience from the philosophical discipline of phenomenology, and an understanding of a reciprocal relationship between a perceiver and their environment from the discipline of cultural anthropology, my work seeks ways in which art practice might represent the dynamic and technologically mediated relationship that exists between a perceiving subject and their surroundings.
