Peter Fox was born in Kettering, Northamptonshire. He studied for his BA (Hons) in Fine Art at the Falmouth School of Art from 1979 to 1982. His work is strongly influenced by primitive and non-western art. He works with printmaking, particularly woodcut, painting and assemblage.
In 2011 Peter Fox founded Redwing Gallery an NPO supporting artists excluded by the mainstream gallery system.
He is a member of the Newlyn Society of Artists and shows his work with them, at Redwing Gallery in Penzance and in venues in Cornwall and London. He has also shown abroad in the USA and Italy.
