For over 20 years my work has been informed by my relationship with landscape.
Early on in my painting career I realised that it was not the spectacular or the picturesque in landscape that interested me.
More often it is the familiar and commonplace that attracts my attention and enables me to construct my own landscapes from the observed, the found and the remembered.
