Recently, I have been exploring painting  again with grids or veil like marks that try to capture what it is like to be on both sides of a veil at once, both looking in and looking out where sustained looking reveals new patterns. This is a progression of a previous phase of work exploring the artificial dividing line between the organic and the inorganic worlds.
