Longya our spring exhibition curated by Dr Mat Retallick is now open!
Julia Giles (Chair) welcomed guests to the opening party and introduced guest curator Dr Matt Retallick, then Matt gave a talk about the selection process. 108 pieces were submitted and just over 60 pieces were selected. Matt made it very clear how impressed he was by the very high standard of work. He said he had some very difficult decisions to make about what to include. Matt’s curation skills brought a fresh perspective to the work of the Newlyn Society of Artist’s work.
The NSA extends a warm welcome to everyone to come and see for themselves. The exhibition at the Tremenheere Gallery runs until (and including) Easter Monday 21st April.The upper gallery at the Tremenheere is a stunning setting for these paintings and sculptures.
